Qatar Financial Centre
Lamees joined the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority’s Business Development team in 2014 as the Associate Director of Business Development, where she is responsible for developing and executing business strategies aligned with the QFC’s growth goals locally and internationally. She is also responsible for identifying and evaluating potential partnership opportunities that serve both the business and client growth within the QFC community.
Prior to joining the QFC, Lamees worked as a Corporate Banker at Standard Chartered Bank in Qatar for almost 7 years, where she started in the Treasury Sales department selling FX and derivative products. She then transferred to Wholesale Banking, where she handled cash management and trade finance sales for Global Corporates.
In her current role, Lamees oversees the execution of QFC’s strategies across all segments and also assists clients in successfully establishing their businesses in Qatar via the QFC platform.
